I assume PC sales is revenues. Unit sales should be up YOY each quarter. And I'll grant you unit growth will come from the low end, (K6, Celeron). (OT, IBM just intro'd five new Aptiva's, all K6 based. All eight Aptiva E series are now K6).
But I was under the impression Rambus is targeted initially at the high end, (servers, workstations, etc.). Isn't that factored into the market?
And I don't quite understand the big losses comment. Won't the market for rambus, create a profit opportunity?
