To all: I currently have no position in kgfc but am considering. I am however concerned about the political situation. In the Jan edition of "Strategic Investment", a "Crisis in Kazakhstan" was reported. There has been large scale civil unrest towards the current "authoritarian" government. There have been a wide range of demands from the opposition including economic reform and an end to corruption in the government. I note that the 52 week low of 0.45 occurred in the middle of Jan. Large scale rallies in an ex-soviet republic demanding economic reform cause concern to me as an investor. Any possiblity of an Albanian style situation developing? Although I doubt that this will transpire, it is possible that future turmoil may cause severe price dips and an excellent opportunity to accumulate. Any thoughts or updates on this?
