Don't know about Melinda, but I have always loved "Prufrock", the poem, that is. In my teen-age years, I had it by heart, and used to love to declaim it, until somebody pointed out that I lacked the fundamental requirement for impersonating Prufrock (i.e., a balding head)... Though I have seen my head [grown slightly bald] brought in upon a platter, I am no prophet--and here's no great matter... I don't know why I should have identified with Prufrock. What about you -- do you identify with him? jbe
