Dave,

I quit foolin' with this, but I'll answer your questions just so you know.

< How long were you training when you were using a small number of neurons?>

Using a 350 Pentium II, the 6 neuron nets would finish one complete cycle of back prop and annealing in about 14 minutes, sometimes a little less.

<One approach that I have taken when I was going to do multiple models is to "Save as" several different file names BEFORE doing any training. This allows you to use exactly the same starting point for your training experiments. Would that help your analysis?>

Already had done that. Results were still never the same, although some were close.

Jay
