That is correct. I am just emphasizing the need to be aware of S&R, trendlines, channels and moving averages. I place greater importance on indicators in the scanning of my database than in picking entries and exits. Once you scan with an indicator it does get redundant if you look at the same indicator for an entry. Look at volume, candlestick patterns and the above mentioned S&R, etc as entry confirmers.

The little work I have done with Gann suggested that my trendlines and moving averages found prices at similar points. I found it easier to stay with what I knew but I did not dismiss Gann because I didn't like it. As far as Fib, I love the retracements. It works and is very helpful yet I don't know why. There is a lot more to Fib than retracements, one day I'll find a good book.
