Hi Investor2; I've been practicing day trading for almost a year now. I did it full time for about 6 months, but I ran out of spending money, and had to take another engineering job. Now my life consists of trading and working, it seems I never get any rest...

As far as great profits from trading, I still consider myself a learner, and keep my share size at 100 or 200 shares, depending on the volatility of the stock. Like most people who survive the first few months, my capital no longer erodes, but there is no way I could make enough to pay my rent at the levels I trade at. Eventually, though. I've told my relatives in Texas that I'm going to move there after I complete my learning, but that this can't possibly happen before 18 months are up. So give me another year. I should post a description of the steps that beginning traders go through on their way to becoming profitable, but I should wait until this happens to me personally... :)
