I would say that faith clearly has a use for those who are too insecure to accept that there are simply things about life about which we don't know. There are certainly people in this world who are terrified at the thought that life might not have any meaning at all, that the universe might actually just be an enormous chunk of space that is completely unaware of them, that life might just be a cosmic accident that we are the unwitting beneficiaries of, and that once you're dead you are totally and completely dead. I can see where those people certainly benefit from their faith, but I'm just not one of them.
I am content to leave unanswered questions unanswered. I feel no need to adopt a set of theories simply because they're old and somebody says they're true. And I am fully capable of continuing to live my life to the utmost of my ability without having to grab hold of a myth to explain everything that can't otherwise be explained. The mysteries of life are intriguing and enticing, but ultimately, for me at least, they are just that -- mysteries. I would like to solve some of them, but I recognize that for now at least there is no evidence to support any conclusions, so I don't claim any.
I (and most of the others on this thread) are perfectly content leaving unanswered questions unanswered. Apparently you're not, and that's fine. However, you need to recognize that your answers have no basis in any sort of reality, but are rather just legends and myths and theories that have been wrapped up in the guise of religion. If believing these things helps you, then fine, believe them. But we sincerely have no need of them and you're simply wasting your time trying to shove them down our throats.
Kindly,
