Aha! .... NCDR does pay to have its stock touted.
The site you listed, stockmaker.com , is paid by NCDR to promote their stock. In other words, the 'research reports' that you find there are really just paid ads from the company, like lots of similar junk reports to be found (http://www.financialweb.com/stockdetective/phony.asp)
Stockmaker.com does at least disclose this on their site:
Companies featured by StockMaker pay consideration to StockMaker for the electronic dissemination of company information
Good old Arthur (who was disciplined by the NASD for what he did to individual investors back when he was a broker) assured us in post #400 that this stock was somehow magically soaring on its own, without any promoters. Which is rubbish, of course. But I saw no smoking gun until afrayem showed stockmaker.com to us. I'm sure there's more out there to prop up this stock than just the touts at stockmaker.com, but it's the first paid promotion to show up!
Here's what Arthur said in post #400:
Gino, The reason this stock has held up "nicely" is because this stock has never been promoted in a positive fashion by anyone. Either on or off the Internet.
The buyers are purely sophisticated investors who have and will continue to back the Company, both financially and through common stock purchases
