JUN 8, 1999, M2 Communications - Ziff Davis (NYSE: ZD) has declared NetWorld+Interop99
Singapore, the leading internetworking event in Asia, an overwhelming success. Approximately
13,500 visitors from Singapore and around the globe, attended the exhibition, seminars and
symposiums in early April. More than half of the attendees consisted of senior management
and/or IT decision-makers.

NetWorld+Interop99 Singapore was preceded by the pioneering Interop ASEAN Tour, which
visited four countries - Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines, and reached out to 5,100
attendees across these nations. Attendees to the Tour obtained a unique preview of leading
edge internetworking technologies from industry leaders such as Computer Associates, Digi
International, Hummingbird Communications, MGE UPS Systems, Novell, V-ONE and Visio,
via a series of full day seminars and case studies.

"NetWorld+Interop99 Singapore was a tremendous success in bringing cutting edge technology
closer to end users via the seminars and hands-on demonstrations," said Roger Yuen,
Managing Director, ZD Events. "Key decision-makers in the telecommunications, Internet and
networking arena were provided with clear-cut avenues to leverage on advanced technologies
which can be implemented immediately." Feedback from exhibitors and visitors was very
positive, with many pleased with the Pavilion concept, solutions showcases, informative

NetWorld+Interop2000 Singapore will return to the Singapore International Convention Centre
August 14-18, 2000.
