Anyone take it in NYC? I thought the NYC exam site was proof positive we are in for the mother of all bear markets: frickin several thousand people at the Javits center, all lined up to do their DCF models. I couldnt believe how many people there were: the line stretched around the block to get in at 845, and the test started late. I felt like I was in a slaughterhouse: exposed concrete and all these little tables lined, booming speakers with the announcers voice, and when they started the afternoon session alot of people didnt even have their test books yet. Its obvious AIMR is going to have to change the exam format-they must be having a difficult time getting people to grade thousands of essays.
The AIMR bulletin promised big changes in next years exam format: heres guessing level 2 goes multichoice.
