Posts Ministry, NTT to study faster data throughput on copper lines Source: Nikkei English News Nikkei English News via Individual Inc. : The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp. (9432) want to develop technology to expand data transmission throughput over existing copper phone lines, Nikkei learned. They expect to cooperate with other institutions, and will form a panel as early as this month to discuss ideas.
