We do all understand, (Don't we?), that this stock is, in a large part being driven down by those, whose sole objective is to buy it on the cheap? These guys will soon get together and rev-up the "ol' publicity engine" with the latest technology/purchase/earnings etc. announcements.
Just watch, most times it will go up driven by inside and institutional buying, followed by most often: Johnny-come- lately's, internet day traders and the like. Just wait for the next announcement and see what happened the day before. At this point, any 2 or 3 non-pr wire announcements will kick this thing (as well as any of the major internets), into hyperdrive. The thing that drives me to this company now, is that it has been more beat up than the others in its' category, just cyclical bad info that happens to most companies after a run of success.
This companies branding potential, is very similar to AOL. Even better because the name itself has the potential to be even more ubiquitous than AOL. Which in some parts of the world is looked upon as another example of Americas' desire to become all things to all people. @Home uses the "@" and the word "Home" in its' business name. Think how simplistic and how to the core this sounds. Sort of like; @I. Basic to the point. Think of other symbols in our lives; NBC, ABC, CNN. Its' all there! And while its' technology is the motor that runs the machine. Its' name and its' branding will turn the key. |
