Toby, Glad to hear about LU being a big player in DFBs, where you indicate there is good money in WDM components. Coincidentally, I just bought some LU at bargain prices on Friday. The barriers to entry should keep profit margins high. I also think LU's diversified tech portfolio will enable steady growth and a supply of R&D funding for promising photonics applications. My other investment in photonics is Corning (GLW). Corning is now breaking ground on a brand new fiber optic component factory and shares dominance of the fiber market with LU. As you can determine from these investments, I tend to be a bit biased toward the larger players right now. Do you think I may be missing out on rising stars? Are there any with limited downside risks? SC
