I wonder if you'd feel the same way if another test/benchmark company starting using your criteria and databases. As I'm sure you'll agree, every published writer needs to carefully decide their copyright concerns.

Eric's own writing may have monetary potential in the future. IMO it would be foolish of him to not to attach acknowledgment to his material.
