That would be a kick...actually rolling on the desert with a non rented 4WD...might make our Exploration Attempts so much more interesting than our caravans in Arizons in 4WD and 4 Door Sedans...I was talking to Dale just yesterday about cars. In the DESERT. He was talking after I sharred the fact that last month I got the deal ogf the century ( and Partner Big John got the same deal) from Avis. I droove that 10,000 mileage car ( 4 door sedan Chevy Lumina-not a van a car style ) some mile straight up a hill at our Original Nevada Claim with a pretty good dam road left over from the 1950s mine they had there with the 700 feet of tunnels a huhe concrete platforms still in good shape for Mills. ( The deal was $14 a day to drive it out of AZ to Nezada!)( Full tank of gas even - and gas was $1.79 back then- rangeing down to 1.40 ish) Eitherway, once early on Dale had need of a car when he flew in and had a bud who said, buy my buds car ...an old Caddy with old big power! He did for cheap money and drove it over desert type areas and stuff sucessfully. That is great to hgear such storries from the prior generation of miners! He saw ahead of us in the Dirts Future in the 1980s and we still have to probably wait til Y2K to see some production ( yes at lower numbers ) unless some sweet new hots spots can be found!) My wife says the secret is diggin down to the next level in our sampling of all hot spots. Maybe the next level is what we all truly tread water and wait for. Pushing thru life as we go. Nice to have met all these nice hypy guys and gals, even tho some of us are different now ...but who says change is not good, it can be. Maybe my next vehicle will be a lumina, who cares, its the adventure not the moving ...( Slogan at U haul? Ha!) I twisted the slogan, but ...we all can say...we have had an adventure in this thread from long ago- so many techtalkers here and in our claim group we met and watched and talked to. Maybe as Dale says...1999 will be our year, he did find Black Rock...now we have to see who does the next programn correct in line with...I have to say it folks..The NEWTECH.
