IDX seems to have strong connections to the anti-Microsoft alliance -- Novell, Oracle, Sun. What does it mean? Probably only that the MSFT competitors have the lead in Internet space, and that IDX is going where there are the first opportunities. When Microsoft finally gets itself organized, I'd expect IDX/MSFT deals. However, having two competing camps can only help IDX, since it will not be in the same weak "take it or leave it" arrangement Microsoft so prefers with its partners.
