Yet, all-the-while, CPQ heads closer to extinction. I have a hard time understanding why a company which is currently debt-free, sitting on $4B in cash and is #1 in most of the markets it sells into is "close to extinction" - or is that just wishful thinking? I suppose in geologic terms, humanity itself is "close to extinction" - but I'm not planning on changing my will just yet.
