My mistake. It is not a cash deal. I equated the additional stock buy-back by Quantum as making this seem more like a cash deal, but it is not a cash deal. It is supposed to be non-dilutive. I still like the risk-reward ratio and I also don't see how shorting Quantum and owning MDCD would be a sound strategy as you referenced in a later post.
