June '99 Corporate Update
Q2 Career Explorer Sales Triple Q2 1997

576 new schools subscribed to
Bridges.com's online career planning service
in the second quarter of 1999, generating
$666,560 in revenue. 3,770 middle and
secondary schools (more than 10 per cent
of the North American market) pay an
annual subscription fee to access Career
Explorer (CX).

Mike Martin, Vice-President of Sales, said: "Second quarter sales have tripled
in the last two years -- up from 182 in the second quarter of 1997. We're
extremely pleased with the growth in sales performance."

Recent Accomplishments and Developments

Q1/Q2 99 Revenues Double First Six Months of 98

Bridges.com revenues for the first six months of 1999 will exceed
$2,100,000. This compares to $1,034,040 for the same period in 1998.
Increased revenues are primarily attributed to the ever-increasing number of
schools utilizing Internet-based resources, an increased number of Bridges'
sales staff (10) focused exclusively on the middle and secondary school
market, and the completion of a 750-site sale in the province of Ontario.

New International Advisory Team

Bridges.com has gathered a team of international representatives to guide the
ongoing development of Career Explorer. Associations represented include:
Industry Canada, the American School Counselor's Association, the Canadian
Career Development Foundation, CanLearn Interactive, the Ontario and
Manitoba ministries of education, the West Virginia Department of Education,
State Occupational Information Coordinating Committee members from
North Carolina and North Dakota, the Canadian Career Consortium, Canada
WorkInfoNet, the Canadian Career Information Partnership and the National
Life-Work Centre. Committee members will meet in early July to evaluate
Bridges' resources and recommend future developments.

Schools Increase CX Usage

More than 15 million page views were recorded on Bridges.com Web sites in
the first six months of 1999. In all of 1998, just under nine million page views
were recorded. High usage rate statistics are regarded by Bridges.com as a
key indicator of subscriber satisfaction with our on-line resources.

Bridges.com Increases Size of School Sales Staff

Bridges.com's Board of Directors has authorized a significant increase in the
number of sales and marketing personnel focused on the distribution of Career
Explorer. As many as eight new sales staff will be added by August, bringing
the total number of sellers to 18. A marketing specialist will also be added to
the team.

"Market share is most important in the fast-changing Internet economy," said
John Simmons, Chairman of Bridges.com. "Bridges must maximize use of our
current resources to increase our rate of growth and secure as many
subscribing schools as we can."

Career Explorer is used by over 10 per cent of North American middle and
secondary schools (3770 sites). At the end of fiscal 1998 (November 30,
1998), market penetration for Career Explorer was 6 per cent (2259 sites).
