I gather Marty Peretz (who helped get Cramer started in the hedge fund biz and who apparently fell out with him over their joint investment in TheStreet.com) yanked the money he controlled from Cramer's fund pretty much at the bottom in September/October. Pretty hard to perform in circs. like that.
