have you seen this? this is an early preview of a major source of next months rambus news. ya gotta love it. these guys already have computers with camino (rambus) inside. and now they want to test and learn how to develop peripherals with more rambus inside...imagine that!!! i want one too.

Welcome to the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) New Platform Workshop, July 13 - 15, 1999. Intel Corporation is holding this event to promote the development of platforms based on the Intel® 820 chipset. This event requires your company to have a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place with Intel, and you will need to sign a Confidential Information Transmittal Record (CITR) (one per company) to attend this event.

This event is by invite only, offering the leading European PC manufacturers testing, training, and the latest updates concerning the new technologies supported within the Intel 820 chipset. 18 European PC manufacturers will be invited to test their Intel 820 platforms with Intel technology experts, the leading add-in card vendors supporting these new technologies, and to engage in advanced training on the latest tools available from Intel supporting Intel 820 platforms.

Each PC manufacturer will engage in a 3 hour testing session for Instantly Available, Wired for Management, and PC'99 compliance and input/feedback into PC'01. In addition, PC manufacturers will spend 1 hour testing sessions with leading add-in card
