The real issue is -- if you buy MDCD today, you get about $9.80 back (20*.489) As long as QNTM's above $20, that's what you basically get (give or take maybe .10)

If QNTM goes as low as $18, you still get $8.8. I'll call those the most likely ranges -- top and bottom.

So you get a minimum return of 14% between now and Sept, and a max. of 26%. If QNTM goes above $27 (today's price - $21.5*1.26) then you leave mony on the table. If QNTM goes down, you're better off with MDCD no matter what. Obviously I've not included any scenarios below 18, but it's my hypothetical ;-}.
