MicroOS as I understand it is a very stripped down software system for file mgmt. I don't know if it fits the true definition of a operating system. There are many players in this stripped down OS market. CE from MSFT and 3Com Pilot OS are niche contenders. EDIGs recent foray into the digital signal processing arena is what will give them some meat that the likes of LU would be interested in. For relatively lo tech applications such as hand held dictation machines their technology is sufficient. To be it in the downloadable, secure, fast MP3 world is a leap for them to prove they can make. I'm not down on these guys, I'm watching them. It's crowded and competitive in the game they're playing.
