Question about cox-2 inhibitors...... I don't understand. I never looked at the question in particular detail, as it seemed pretty simple. I may just be missing something that's very obvious....... They were supposed to be better than aspirin et al. because they didn't target the enzyme that protects the gut. But, aren't they being approved without the desired gut labeling? How much do they cost? Excedrine is a miracle medicine for me, and I worry more about the acetominophen component than the aspirin.
