Venkie, I quit two years ago and got through the withdrawal by using four to five Skoal bandits, little tobacco pouchces, which you can hold in between your gums and jaw for half an hour when the craving strikes. Works on the same prindipal as the nicoteen patch. Helped me immesuranbly. SO if you have to relapse, relapse to the smokeless tobacco, which is far, far less dangerous than inhaling carcinogens into your lungs. FOr info go to the "For Smokers Only" home page on the web. I never have any cravings. I do use two or three Bandits a day, after meals or after cocktails but i have ZERO, I repeat ZERO desire for a cigarette. Also get carrots and chew them, and I got a squeezable rubber iso-exerciser to have something to do with my hands.
hang in there.
