I was listening to the e-business call and I believe that LE stated that ORCL would have "blow-out quarter" in relation to CRM. Since LE stated several times that any/all of ORCL's application products (i.e. ERP, CRM, supply chain, e-business, etc.) can ONLY be implemented via the internet they are a internet company in these areas. They cannot tell exactly how there databases are implemented.

LE was trying to get the point across to the audience the difference between ORCL (e-business supplier) and e-commerce companies. I believe that he is thinking that since CRM, Business Online and 8i are all internet products, therefore, ORCL should be considered an internet company.

I cannot predict what the present quarters sales or earnings are. But one thing is certain, as a percentage, all the product(s) ORCL has related to the internet will show strong growth. Thats how a technology wants to be positioned and where the future growth earnings will come from.

LE does not think in the present but in the future and he happens to be an extreme optimist. I feel that after this quarters earnings are announced he believes that "the street" will view ORCL more as an internet and e-business provider (i.e. "hot"). If this is the case, the investment community should view the companies future more positively and afford the stock a higher P/E multiple.

This is all speculation. Next Tuesday will end this debate once and for all.

Thanks for your time, Bob.
