Mr Brian Cook reports
Net income was $1,158,992 in the 12 months to December 31 1996, up 888%
over the previous fiscal year. This represents earnings of $0.13 per share,
up from $0.01 in 1995.
Net sales increased to $11,664,313 in the 1996 fiscal year from $6,535,700
in 1995.
The year end results also highlighted a rise of 66% in Bow Flex's cash
position to $1,717,521 in cash and certified deposits from $1,035,067 in
1995.
The company increased its leads-to-sales conversion rate by 25% in 1996.
Bow Flex is proceeding with its television infomercial campaign. These 30
minute spots are expected to have a significant impact on sales in 1997.
