CCSI.... News came today on a distributor for Chromatics Color Sciences' (CCSI) non-invasive monitor of infant jaundice (no more heelsticks). The company has been manufacturing and distributing the device on their own since February, 1999. They have signed with Datex-Ohmeda, a large well-known presence which has broad recognition and a sound service reputation in hospital environments around the world. Terms of the agreement include annual minimum market penetration performance standards and quantities of their device and disposables to be distributed by Datex-Ohmeda, Inc. through its home healthcare marketing channels and its Ohmeda Medical division, for which CCSI will share the revenues.
