To all:

Here's a little tidbit I found in misc.invest.stocks.
Is this product for real? Any comments?

------------------
Avatar, a subsidiary company of KCE Electronics of Thailand (ticker on
Reuters = KCE.BK), is now producing a removeable media disk drive to be sold through OEM's
that Dataquest says is a much better technology than Iomega's
Zipdrive. In its 1995 survey of removeable disk drives worldwide, Table 2.3 compares Zip,
Jaz, Syquest EZ135, and Avatar:

ACCESS TRANSFER PRICE
NAME FORM FACTOR CAPACITY(MB) TIME(MS) RATE(MB/S) ($)

Zip 3.5" 100 39 1.25 200
Jaz 3.5" 1000 17.5 3.77 500
EZ135 3.5" 135 21.8 2.4 240
Avatar 2.5" 170 <12 2.3 370

Avatar is the only drive that can FIT INSIDE notebook and sub notebook
computers, weighs only 5.9 ounces, and draws only 2.2 watts. Given the rapidly increasing
percentage of portable computers being sold, Avatar will benefit from this trend.
It is also the only removable media disk drive in production that has its driver
incorporated into Windows95.

KCE is one of the largest amd most porfitable PCB manufactureres in Asia. Despite its >40%
average EPS growth over the last 3 years, the market still values the company at
only 8.6 times 1996 earnings, which includes no contribution from Avatar.

Essentially, YOU GET AVATAR FOR FREE. You can buy KCE stock through any broker
in United States.

You can find out all about Avatar by visiting their website at
www.avatarltd.com or email at avatar4000@aol.com.
