No flames here Carolyn--I think you're absolutely right: at the end of the day with the current state of broadband roll-out to the home, it is very much a 'take what you can get' kind of deal. In San Francisco, there seem to be a flood of DSL vendors pounding the streets and only TCI in the cable category. Elsewhere, cable seems to be getting the harder sell. I know happy and unhappy campers on both sides.
My question to Bernard however dealt with home networking as in: linking multiple PCs, and specifically the kind of wire he thought best INSIDE the house versus the type of pipe coming from the OUTSIDE. Kind regards, Mike Doyle
