Th Phase III trials will reach a "breakdown" point before 2 years. That's the point at which the company can "peek" at the data. If that peek shows enough efficacy the trials will be aborted and the vaccine will be used.

So there will be 3 ways to make a profitable investment in VaxGen: 1) The IPO; 2) Speculation leading up to the "breakdown" point; and 3) Sales of vaccine.
