Forget about Iridium - it's now of academic interest* only.* I strongly disagree. Iridium, in its current form, may cease to exist. The current equity holders may be scr*d. But those satellites will be used. The time available on them will be sold. Someone will pick up the pieces and use them. Selling into the same customer base addressed by GSTRF, with a reduced cost structure because of the subsidy provided by the above mentioned current equity holders.
