In the same vein:
Iomega was prominently mentioned as a "froth" stock to "avoid" on last night's Wall $treet Week by one of the "Wall $treet Week Hall of Famers".

I own a Z drive and find it impressive but I know that it is a short term TRANSITION technology. Within two years writable optical disks will be selling at the same price point as Zips do now and unless Iomega follows a "razor blade" strategy by giving Z drives away, I don't see how they compete against a superior format. (I'm sure Iomega knows this, let's see if they are so sanguine about Zip's prospects that they plan massive P & E investment to gear up production or do they simply farm production out ?).

That is why investment professionals are generally negative now, they recognize the Zip's potential, rejecting the short term "hype" given by FOOLS and take a longer term perspective. I repeat, I own it, I like it and will use it until a better product, optical, is available and affordable.

Remember, a FOOL'S advice is generally worth what you pay for it!
