Hate to say it, but the article is not off with my experience with Netbank. I have had several instances sighted in the article.

I am both an account and a shareholder.

So why will I hold long term? Check back when online trading was new. ETRADE was the worst at customer support. True for many others, and go back to when it was new to order a $3000 computer over the phone, from a company with no stores at the mall! My first PC in the 80's was a gateway... it took forever to get a real person on the line, at midnight!

It is called growth. Massive growth. Paradigm shift is yet to occur with online banking.

I hope to never need to step foot in another bank again. I may be earlier than the herd to trust my money in a virtual account, so the trade-off is some slow or poor service, for now.

But I have time...
