CR, This was a nice press release, but is still just the NEC marketing department doing a job of PR. I'm not trying to give you a hard time, but just wanted to clarify a technical issue. I don't speak for IDT and certainly don't feel comfortable discussing details of our customer's strategy, but feel that this post is misleading. I gave the first MIPS presentation to CISCO management several years ago and was involved during the architectural definition of the R5000. NEC later became a second source for this part, insuring our customers of another supplier. Again, this is precisely what makes the MIPS camp so powerful, since customers prefer to have multiple suppliers. IDT's challenge is to lead the camp with new innovation, and our corporate charter has a focus on the "connected world" -- an area in which CISCO is a leader and a key technical partner to IDT.. No doubt you'll be seeing lots more press releases in the future describing some of these innovative products. See ya! Scott Gardner
