Thanks for the reply, I don't have sound on my PC (damn IT nazis) so I couldn't try out funphone. Re: INNF I'm not sure if you mean using your computer as telephone via the internet is a pipedream or something else. As I understand it, one of the services INNF will offer is long distance calls at cheap rates due to the fact that their gateways will convert packet switched calls into internet protocol. This way, you can just use a normal phone, it just travels by a different method. On latency, even if voice is a problem for some reason, wouldn't there still be a huge market for long distance fax calls made through internet protocol as although there may be a delay it still gets there and is far cheaper. As for the VoIP and internet telephony confusion may be its just their terminology, alternatively, may be you're right.
