Raymond,

My methods are most definitely geared to bull market periods. It is something I am trying to correct in my trading. I usually don't feel comfortable shorting until it is too late and I'm trying to change that. I need to trust myself to hit my stops immediately; sometimes I get trapped into paralysis with stocks like YHOO. Many times I've stopped out for a loss and the next day the stock just zooms ahead without me. Have that happen a few times and it's no wonder that I'll let it get away from me in the hopes that it happens once again. Of course, that is the time it doesn't follow the previous "logic".

I know...hoping is not for traders. If you find yourself hoping, you need to get out now...and fast.

I need to practice more discipline and to be able to trust myself to not get into trouble. If I can do this, then the confidence will surely follow.

Paul
