"Televangelist Robert Tilton, 52, has sold his Word of Faith church to the city of Farmers Branch, Texas, for $6.1 million. The suburban Dallas community plans to convert the 13-acre property into a convention center. Tilton also has settled a million-dollar fraud lawsuit filed by his first wife, Marte, in 1996.
