Hi Ray!

Thanks for the response.

I appreciate your taking the time to share your ideas & experience. After your discussion of trading, I was wondering if you knew anyone with a "money machine" that can put the odds in one's favor (above 50% plus enough costs) consistently. It sounds from your response that such a mechanical system is not to be had.

"Instead, they await the "lead pipe cinch" trade and try to make a killing on it. This may mean no trades for months, or even a year or so."

This really seems like the way to go if one wants to engage in speculation. Just because Mr. Market is out there pitching every day does not mean that one has to swing at every pitch. I too would like to wait for pitches that throw the odds significantly in my favor.....

I guess the next issue is identifying those pitches. Scaling in at historical lows and shorting at historical highs seems to be one possibility.....

What kind of signals are you looking for to take serious positions in silver?

Have you looked at uranium yet? It seems like the market still has inventory that needs to be worked off, but when it's gone, IT'S GONE. There is no scrap market, and you can't just go out and open a uranium mine because the price has gone up........that could make for an amazing squeeze when it hits.

Cheers!

THC
