Phil, the formal SEC statement on this supposed investigation is "no comment". They will not even confirm that there is such an "informal inquiry". The only info is from a "leak" that this source claims to have.

Personally, I consider this a "slam" tactic by the anti Camelot bashers out there. If it is more, it will be formally announced. Until then, I am still long on Camelot.

I also found it unsettling that you choose to only post the negatives of this article. Again, for the record, the following is a quote from YOUR source that you missed:

The Camelot spokeswoman said she also was unaware of an FTC inquiry. She did acknowledge there had been complaints about the older product, but she attributed them to the fact that people were trying to use the Win 3.x product on Windows 95.

Donna Corson, president of The Distribution Network, a distributor in Springfield, Ore., concurred, saying those problems should be resolved with the newly shipping product.

Camelot now is shipping Digiphone 1.03, which is compatible with both Windows 3.x and Windows 95, plus a new Deluxe version that adds three-way conferencing capability, the ability to put four people on hold and other features, according to the spokeswoman.
