SINA.com Partners With AltaVista to Provide Fastest and Most
Comprehensive Internet Search Services to Global Chinese Community
SINA.com, the dominant Internet destination site for the global Chinese community, and AltaVista, the most powerful and useful guide to the Internet, have announced a worldwide agreement to provide SINA.com users with the fastest and most comprehensive Internet search services available.
Under the agreement, SINA.com will integrate AltaVista's industry leading search engine with its existing search technology and Web directory. The result will enable SINA.com's user base -- the largest in this market segment -- to enhance their online experience via AltaVista's powerful search technology, enabling users to search in Chinese and English. The companies will launch the enhanced service on June 14.
