Jim it is simple you sell to open instead of buying to open. If stocks goes up you loose if stock is going nowere or down you make money. It is important to sell option with high implied volatility of at least 45% otherwise it is not worth the risk. see option calculator at cboe.com you can also down load the software. BWDIK Haim
