IMHO, I don't think people will wait for the end of the month. They will know in the next day or two:

On Friday, the release of the May producer price index (PPI) will set the stage for Monday's consumer price index (CPI). Investors will scrutinize the CPI in particular to determine whether last month's spike in retail inflation was an isolated event or the beginning of a trend.
