American Aircarriers Support Awarded $20 Million Long-Term Service Contract
FORT MILL, S.C., June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- American Aircarriers Support, Incorporated (''AAS'') (Nasdaq: AIRS - news), a leading international supplier of aviation services, announced today that the Company has been awarded a $20 million service contract to maintain, overhaul and repair JT8 engines for Amerijet International, Inc (''Amerijet''). The five-year contract covers the engines powering Amerijet's fleet of 10 B727 aircraft. Amerijet is a leading international all-cargo airline based in South Florida. The airline offers more direct, scheduled routes between North America and the Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America than any other cargo airline serving the region.
