Intel Web Service To Feature Concerts, Radio

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Intel Corp. (Nasdaq:INTC - news) said that it added live concerts, online radio, digital
downloads and other music content to its WebOutfitter service, a Web site designed for the owners of PCs running its new
Pentium III processor.

When Intel launched the more powerful Pentium III chip earlier this year, it also announced the WebOutfitter service, which is
aimed at showing new PC owners the capabilities of the P-III processor and the things they can do with their new PC.

''It's really a destination on the Net for owners of Pentium III-based PCs,'' said Jami Dover, head of marketing at Santa Clara, Calif.-based Intel.
''We are doing a number of things to create a better Internet experience.''

The latest theme in the WebOutfitter Service will include Launch Live, to view and listen to live music concerts over the Internet, which is developed
especially for the Intel site by Launch Media Inc. (Nasdaq:LAUN - news), a privately-held company in New York.

Launch Live will host approximately 20 live music concerts, to be broadcast on the Intel site, over the summer, by yet-to-be named artists.

The site will also include in-depth information about performing artists, music videos and interviews.

Spinner Networks Inc,. which just agreed to be acquired by America Online Inc. (NYSE:AOL - news), has created a custom interface for Intel, for
users to listen to its many radio channels over the Net that feature music of participating artists around the world.

The site also features an area where consumers can download digital music in MP3 and learn all about this digital music format and which artists are
supporting it. They can also burn their own CDs with their own digital music or remixing music that is available.

Intel said that it the new themes will be live on its WebOutfitter service Thursday at intelweboutfitter.com. The site is free but it is only accessible to
Pentium III users.
