If anyone has "friends" working there, would love to hear some positive and
negative feedback
Remotely, fellow worker of mine has a friend in customer services at EMC, LA office. I get some insight from time to time on how sales are going. For example, just before the HP-EMC-Hitachi thing hit, EMC guy's message was that Hitachi had embarked on a scorched-earth policy (doing anything to get orders, including bombing prices). He said that, in spite of this, EMC was still getting all the business they could handle, while not lowering prices. As with all employee wordings, have to take it with a large grain of salt, but, we haven't heard from any other source that orders and prices at EMC weren't solid (that I know of).
