Thanks for the info. ECB needs to do something to get Germany growing but they are somewhat shackled because Ireland and France are doing very well in the growth category. But since they are all linked by the euro, to ease would supposedly risk 'growth above trend' in the countries who are already thriving just to jump start the German economy. The Economist had a good article on the German economy and it's solution rests in structural reform.

On Japan, that's really good news, especially if it's not a one quarter fluke. But according to Bill Siedman, who by the way is a very practical person, they haven't really tackled the structural changes that needed to be made. I think it's very difficult for them because of their cultural history.

On Dell, I guess I'm hesitant about the 'free' internet access because I don't know the details and how will it really affect usage when their phone structure is still going to be costly in some way to the user.
