Estelle, I don't think that it will impact them as much as you might think. William may disagree with me on this. . .and that is good. . .that is what makes a thread work is lots of viewpoints. But I feel that the market has considered the costs and adjusted accordingly.

Also, we are only talking several billion dollars here. . . [what a ridiculous statemtent]. . .no, really. . .I see the 3 billion in war expense to be fully expected. And the re-building of Kosovo to be a shot-in-the-arm for American companies getting those government contracts. Remember those companies that were sent into Kuwait to extinguish the oil well fires? They made a killing.

I can't even believe how many building, bridges and other structures we destroyed. . . .after a while, we were dropping bombs to destroy the rubble left from being destroyed from dropping bombs. Silliness.
But what a fabulous opportunity to help re-build a brand new nation. . . state of the art. . .better than before. . .

Anyway, I just think it will all wash out and have little long-term effects. . . .just the immediate knee-jerk reactions from each piece of news. Looking forward to opposing views and others opinions.
