good points. many there i'm told still don't have telephones and don't necessarily want to afford them (not so much in the UK, though); they do however, want internet access - because it is less expensive to send email than make a phone call - so a real calling card is the email for them. Euoros will pay for a wire to their house for internet connection before they'll install a land-wired telephone to their home. of course, the deal there is developing the wireless connections to the net as it is less expensive. my relatives living there have told me this (they reside now in Southern Europe)
