Josh, I wish I had a good answer for you. Over the years my shorts have produced numerious losses. Maybe if you can find a sucessful bear and learn something. If you talking about MU for example, stocks that are under accumulation are not good candidates for shorting. They pull back but they don't roll over. I would look for candidates that have had a major run up with the price staying constant and lots of distribution going on. Even then you may only have a short window.and have to be fast on your feet. Again, I've rarely made money shorting maybe some of the bears on this line could better advise you.
